Pasture-raised pork ham steak. A little under a pound.
Organic red potatoes and a yellow onion
Frozen (or fresh) green beans
Chop the ham
Quarter the potatoes. Dice the onion.
As much garlic as you like. Mustard: ground, whole, or prepared, as much as you like.
About a quarter cup of brown sugar.
A few tablespoons of any oil with a good flavor.
Mix it all up in a crock pot. Adjust the amount of potatoes and green beans for the size of the pot.
Less than 20 minutes of prep time. This amount made 6 large servings.
Put it in the crock pot on high for around 4-5 hours.
Anchor Ranch Farm is a family farm in pastoral Scio, Oregon. We raise healthy meat animals naturally on pasture. They have space to roam and act as animals should. It's good for them, it's good for our customers, and it's good for the land.
Sign up for our email newsletter (extremely infrequent!) to be notified of pre-order and other discount opportunities and occasional farm updates. We will never share your information with anyone else without your specific permission or as required by law.
